Rebecca Jean’s Cafe hosted their ribbon-cutting event with the Hartselle Area Chamber of Commerce on Friday afternoon.

The Coffee/Cafe and event hosting location can do more than just provide a yummy lunch, owner Rebecca Jean Berryman said they cater too.

“You can come and dine in here or get a cup of coffee,” Berryman said. “We also cater events and our building is able to be rented out for different parties and events.”

Berryman and her husband Josh said they have been married for over 10 years during Rebecca’s employment at another location where she felt the call to do something else.

“I have been a Dental Hygienist for the same employer for 16 years,” Berryman said. “We felt God opened the door for us to open Rebecca Jean’s earlier this year and took a huge leap of faith in doing so. We opened the business debt free and are determined to remain debt free.”

Rebecca and Josh have three young boys: Noah, Aaron and Elijah whom also seem to enjoy their time spent at the cafe.

“I have always loved taking care of people, cooking for people, and hosting guests,” Berryman said. “Rebecca Jean’s is a fun way to make strangers feel at home, feel like family and have some really good food. It’s an honor to serve the community of Hartselle.”

It is located at 1505 Highway 31 Southwest Suite C next to Silver Stone Salon and Spa. Their hours are Tuesday-Friday 8 a.m to 4 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.on Saturday. The restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday’s. For more information, contact Rebecca Jean’s at 256-754-5353.
