Priceville Cruise-in

After delaying the annual cruise-in for one week due to the threat of rain and inclement weather, the Town of Priceville had a great turnout for the annual event. Held Sat. Aug. 27. A deluge of rain that left many of the cars stuck on the fields in mud during the event affected the event in 2015.

But warm temperatures and clear skies brought out the crowds for the event this year. According to event organizers 334 classic and antique cars and trucks were on display at the event. The owners of the cars were the recipients of  a engine, set of wheels, sets of tires and 20- $100 draws for participating in the Cruise-In.

The crowds came early and stayed late for the fireworks show that ended the event.

Natchez Trace drew a crowd as they performed during the evening. Folks lined up for the raffle of items including large screen TV’s as well. Many vendors were on hand offering their wares and food was available for those attending also. Several Priceville businesses had tents set up to welcome visitors and showcase themselves to those attending the Cruise-In.

The event is held each year for the community. All in attendance were having a good time enjoying food, fellowship, music and checking out the many cars and trucks on display.
