Funeral for Rufus A. Penn Jr., 76, of Danville was Mon., May 25, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Vest officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in McKendree Cemetery.

Mr. Penn died Sat., May 23, 2015, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born March 27, 1939, in Lawrence County to Rufus Alivie Penn Sr. and Lois White Penn. He was married for 54 years to his beloved wife, Andryne Reid Penn and was a member of McKendree Methodist Church. He was a millwright for Saginaw Steering Gear prior to his retirement. He was preceded in death by his father; a daughter, Debbie Penn; a brother, Ed Penn; and a sister, Evelyn Bramlett.

He is survived by his wife, Andryne Reid Penn of Danville; a daughter, Sherri Penn Edgil (Trey) of Decatur; and his mother, Lois White Penn.

Pallbearers were family and friends.
