Somerville, Priceville parades slated Saturday

The towns of Somerville and Priceville will present their annual Christmas Parades Sat., Dec. 6.

Somerville’s parade will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, following a pancake breakfast in the old courthouse from 7 to 11 a.m.

The parade will form on the north side parking lot at Somerville Baptist Church. Santa will appear at the end of the parade bringing candy treats for the kids.

Priceville will follow with its 22nd Annual Christmas Parade at 2 p.m.

It will form on North Bethel Road and will travel along a route that includes Greenfield, Skidmore and Faye streets.

Featured parade units will include Priceville High School’s marching band and the JROTC unit. Santa will arrive on the town’s No. 1 fire engine.
