Brewer’s girls basketball team used a 19-8 second quarter to take control in its 56-39 win over Arab Friday night.

The top-ranked Lady Patriots are still undefeated with an 8-0 record.

Riley Northway led the way with 23 points, 11 rebounds, three assists and two steals. Rheagan Harvel finished with 11 points and four assists.

Savana Flack had nine points and five rebounds despite fouling out. Sierra Kinser added six points followed by Malorie Drinkard with four, Emily Oden with two and Caitlin Lavendar with one.

Cheyenne McLemore dished out six of the team’s 19 assists, compared to just 11 turnovers.
