Funeral for Irene Sullins, 91, of Hartselle will be Wed., Oct. 24, at 2 p.m. at Bell Springs Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Jerry Freeman officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Bell Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Tues., Oct. 23, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Sullins died Mon., Oct. 22, 2012, at Decatur Morgan Hospital.

She was born July 23, 1921, to Daniel Angelo and Mary Josephine Gaspa Angelo. Mrs. Sullins was the longest resident of Columbia Cottage. She was a homemaker and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Bell Springs Missionary Baptist Church for approximately 60 years where she served in various positions such as pianist and treasurer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Burben Sullins Sr. and her parents.

She is survived by two sons, Burben W. Sullins, Jr. and wife Martha of Mobile, and Spencer Sullins and wife Diann of Hartselle; two sisters, Helen Socha, of Connecticut and Patty Horan of Illinois; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be family members.
