Three current members of the Hartselle Board of Education have qualified for positions on the city’s first elected school board.

First day qualifiers were current BOE president Jennifer Sittason in Place 4, Monica “Monty” Vest in Place 1 and Randy Sparkman in Place 2.

Each candidate is required to fill out four forms as follows: Statement of Candidacy, Statement of Economic Interest, Appointment of Principal Campaign Committee and Campaign Finance Contribution and Expense. In addition, a $50 qualifying fee is required of each candidate.
