New Center plans new cookbook

As some of you well know cookbooks are my weakness. I might not use them a lot but I love to look at them. I recently learned that Brenda McMinemon of New Center Baptist Church is planning to do another cookbook as a fundraiser for the church’s mission trip this year. There will be approximately 650 recipes using the old cookbook recipes plus gathering new ones. The cost will be between $14.50 and $15.00. So if you are interested, please contact Brenda or the church because they need a minimum of 200 books to get this price. Keep in mind they will make great wedding gifts, secret sister gifts and also great for Christmas.

Happy birthday wishes go out this week to Gracie Clemons and Garnett Roberts on June 18, Colton Childers on June 19, Turner Lemmond and Jacob Doshier on June 21 and Kirk Feemster on June 22.

Happy anniversary wishes to Burgess and Angia Smith .on June 18, David and Beth Lewis on June 18, Ford and Jane Gates on June 19, Michael and Shelly Howard on June 20, Fred and Evelyn Motes on June 20t Allan and Tiffany Parker on June 21 and Randy and Tammy Whitten on June 23.

Happy anniversary wishes to my parents, Fred and Evelyn Motes, who celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary on Saturday, June 16.
