Funeral for Harold Dean Steelman, 73, of Somerville will be Sat., Jan. 21, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Michael Mason officiating.

Visitation will be Sat., Jan. 21, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Red Oak Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Steelman died Thur., Jan. 19, 2012, at his residence. He was born Aug. 17, 1938, in Madison County to Giles Garland Steelman and Emma Virginia Quillen Steelman. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Wallace R. Steelman and Robert T. Steelman.

He is survived by two daughters, Deana Borden and husband Rickey of Cotaco and Pamela Nelms and husband David of Somerville; a brother, Joe Giles Steelman and wife Mary of Cotaco; and three grandchildren, Devin Helms, Trevor Borden and Kelsey Borden.

Pallbearers will be Mike Graveman, Wallace Steelman, Kerry Voss, Shane Raper, Darrell Voss, Jimmy Kent and James Russell.

Honorary pallbearers will be M.L. Johnson, Kay Edmondson and Ted Dunaway.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association.
