Funeral service for Ryan Pannell, 32, will be Fri., Jan. 6, at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Cove Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Smith.

Burial will be in Lawrence Cove Cemetery. Visitation will be Thur., Jan. 5, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Pannell died on Tues., Jan. 3, 2012, at his residence. He was born April 13, 1979, in Morgan County to Terry Pannell and Anita (Childers) Pannell. He was a Baptist and was very patriotic and hard working. He was fan of Alabama football and was most proud of his time and performances on his high school football team at Brewer High School before his battle with diabetes. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his sister, Dana S. Lawrence of Falkville.

Pallbearers will be Rusty Childers, Scotty Childers, Travis Childers, Jeremy Barnett, Scott Posey, Shannon Childers and Frankie Wood.
