Funeral for Billy Mack Willis, 86, of Cotaco was Sat., Nov. 26, at 10 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Arthur Scott Harris and the Rev. David Weaver officiating.

Burial was in Red Oak Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Willis died Wed., Nov, 23, 2011, at his residence. Her was born Mar. 13, 1925, in Jackson County to Robert Lee Willis and Comfort Tate Willis. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and a charter member of Cotaco Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed spending time and talking with his family and friends. He was well noted for his knowledge of local history and he enjoyed studying genealogy.

He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Willis; a son, Edward Lee Willis and wife Margaret Ann; a daughter, Cynthia Ann Harris and husband Scott; a brother, John Howard Willis and wife Faye; two grandchildren, Brittany Bhrette Harris and Brennan Scott Harris, all of Cotaco.

Pallbearers were Mike Brasher, Welsey Brasher, Jason Brightwell, Allen Owens, Keith Owens, Craig Owens, Mitch Owens and Steve Whitt.

The family thanks Dr, Prickett and his staff, HGA Home Care and Hospice of the Valley for their compassionate and wonderful care.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Cotaco Methodist Church or to Cotaco Volunteer Fire Department.
