Somerville Baptist hosts Fun Night Oct. 29

I hope everyone had a blessed week. A lot will be going on in the community within the next two weeks.

Somerville Baptist Church will host a Fun Night Oct. 29. There will be good food, inflatable rides, games and lots of fun for the entire family. Pastor Shane Lewis and the congregation invite everyone to attend.

Somerville Assembly will host a fun night on Sat., Oct. 29, beginning at 5 p.m. There will be lots of food, fun and a hayride. Everyone is welcome to attend. The church will also host a Trunk or Treat on Mon., Oct. 31, from 6 to 8 p.m. All of the kids are invited.

Happy birthday wishes go out to Jaden Stover on Oct. 23.

We are glad to report that Vernon White made it through his heart surgery and is now at home recuperating. Keep him in your prayers.

Prayers go out for Mary Grace Asherbranner who is having a problem with one of her knees. Prayers also go out for Donna Orr, Wanda Taylor, Angie Holmes and our military personnel.

Somerville Assembly was pleased to have Daryll and Donna Orr as visitors on Sunday.

Louis Daugette visited his Mamaw Vickey Daugette on Sunday afternoon.

A benefit will be held for Dennis “Dinky” Free on Nov. 5 at the Soggy Bottom Music Barn in Florette, beginning at 5 p.m. Several gospel groups will be singing throughout the day. Barbecue and other foods will be available as well as a cake auction. Everyone is invited to come out and support this worthwhile event. Also keep” Dinky” in your prayers.

A big hello goes out to Mary Nelson, Colleen Moore and Nancy Kent.
