• approved a resolution to authorize reimbursement from bond proceeds

• tabled adoption of final ACE Strategic Plan for Hartselle.

• approved a fire hydrant maintenance contract between Hartselle Utilities and the fire department.

• approve a Community Service Grant for $3,000 from State Rep. Ed Henry, R-Hartselle, which will be used for a subscription to Camelia Net for e-reader service. This will allow library card holders to temporarily download electronic books e-readers. The contract will be approved pending the approval of City Attorney Larry Madison.

• approved a parade permit for Hartselle First United Methodist Church to host its live nativity in December.

• approve a parade permit for Greg McCaig to host a concert in downtown Hartselle on Oct. 28 in the city parking lot behind the library.

• declared pool and pool related items surplus.

• authorize sales tax refund requests for Altec for $5,639.60 and Martin for $86.62.

• approve budget adjustment to 2011-2012 budget due to increase in life insurance premiums.

• approved year-end budget Transfers for all departments.
