Lee Nell Vest

A graveside service for Lee Nell Vest, 89, of Falkville was Sun., Sept. 18, at Forrest Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Keenum officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Ms. Vest died Sat., Sept. 17, 2011, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born Jan. 10, 1922, in Morgan County to James W. Looney and Dona Laura Sims Looney. She was retired from Athens-Limestone Hospital as an LPN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Brandon Vest.

She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Vest of Decatur; three grandchildren, Howard Jonathan Vest of Decatur, Howard Joseph Vest of Lake Jackson, Tex. and Paul Bradley Vest of Fleetwood, N.C.; and five great-grandchildren, Abby Elizabeth Vest, Ali Suzanne Vest, Grace Marie Vest, Anna Lee Vest and Brandon Chandler Vest.

Pallbearers were Howard Joseph Vest, Paul Bradley Vest, Tim Keenum, Howard Jonathan Vest and Greg Keenum.
