A graveside service for Mae Sue Chenault Fields, 86, of Hartselle was Tue., Oct. 19, at 11 a.m. at Hartselle City Cemetery with Bro. Alan Queen officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Fields died Sat., Oct. 16, 2010, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born April 30, 1924, in Lawrence County to Jessie A. Chenault and Elizabeth Chenault. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie P. “Jack” Fields; her parents; and four sisters, Lois Kirby, Lorene Johnson, Esther Chenault and Willa Roberts.
She is survived by a son, Larry Fields and wife Jane Ann of Hartselle; a daughter, Debbie Fields Moore and husband Joe of Hartselle; two brothers, Chester Chenault of Decatur and John Junior Chenault of Hartselle; two sisters, Bea Johnson of Orange Beach and Thelma Sandlin of Falkville; two granddaughters, Mandee Boster and husband Tony and Krisee Terry and husband Jared; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were nephews.
