A memorial service for Bobbie Richardson, 79, of Hartselle was Friday, Aug. 1, at 11 a.m. at Hartselle Church of Christ with Phillip Hines officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
A funeral service was Saturday, Aug. 2, at 10 a.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel in Nashville, Tenn. with Phillip Hines officiating.
Burial was in Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Richardson died Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born June 17, 1929, in Nashville, Tenn. to John Otto Bradley and Ruth Mae DeWire Bradley. She was a member of Hartselle Church of Christ, co-owner of Lace-n-Lace in Hartselle and an accomplished seamstress. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Charles Edward Bradley and Ronnie Bradley.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Richardson of Hartselle; two sons, Ricky Richardson and wife Sherry of Atlanta, Ga. and Stan Richardson and wife Denise of Hartselle; two daughters, Gay Richardson and husband Mark of Newnan, Ga. and Dawn Pearman and husband Richard of Mars Hill, N.C.; two sisters, Lynn Fuson and Marie Reid, both of Nashville; seven grandchildren, Samuel Joshua Richardson and wife Shannon of Savannah, Ga., William Thomas Richardson and wife Angela of Caldwell, Idaho Katie Hutchison and husband Garry and Kelly Richards, all of Newman, Ga., Hayden Richardson of Huntsville and Hunter Richardson and Janie Richardson, both of Hartselle; and four great-grandchildren, Bryce Polisi, Adam Richardson and Jenna Richardson, all of Caldwell, Idaho and Jordyn Cooper of Newnan, Ga..
The family requests that memorials be made to Hartselle Church of Christ “Brazil Mission Fund.”
