Freeman ‘Little Man’ Hale

A graveside service for Freeman “Little Man” Hale, 67, of Falkville was Sunday, June 22, at 11 a.m. at Falkville City Cemetery with Bro. Harvel Smith officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Hale died Friday, June 20, 2008, at his residence. He was born July 23, 1940, in Cherokee County. He was a loving father and devoted husband.
He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Hale of Falkville; two sons, Stacy Hale and wife Cyndie of Charlotte, N.C. and David Hale and wife Wendy of Hartselle; a daughter, Tina Hale Orton and husband Richie of Warrior; a sister, Jimmie Nell Cork of Piedmont; and seven grandchildren.
Nephews were pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of the Valley.
