Doris McGinnis Butler of Maumelle, Ark., died Friday, Aug, 24, 2007.
Mrs. Butler was born in Springville. She was a beautician and a successful land developer. She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Butler; her parents, Lil C. Byford and Velma Peebles Byford; and two brothers, H. A. Byford and Skip Byford.
She is survived by two daughters, Nena Patterson of Maumelle and Shelly Gilmore of Greers Ferry ; a son, Marty McGinnis of Maumelle; three grandchildren, Kristen, Brandon and Hannah McGinnis; two sisters, Janie Day and Bobbi Smith and husband John, all of Alabama; a brother, Billy Byford of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.
