Funeral for Virginia Nell Spillers, 80, of Hartselle was Saturday, Aug. 4, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Michael Sikes officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mrs. Spillers died Tuesday, July 31, 2007, at Sunbridge Care &Rehabilitation in Decatur. She was born July 22, 1927, in Polk, Ga. to Warren Clayton Parr and Ruby Kate Lingefelt Parr.
She is survived by two sons, Randy Spillers of Virginia Beach, Va. and John Spillers of Gainesville, Ga.; a daughter, Donna Casteele and husband Perry of Hartselle; a brother, Norman Parr of Gainesville, Ga.; and eight grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Johnny Johnson, Michael Johnson, Michael Creel, Thomas McHan, Chester McHan and Jesse Ceroantes.
