May 12, 1957-Dean Jones, a Morgan County native now in the movies in Hollywood, sang a special tribute to Jerome Kern, George Gershwin, and Cole Porter on tonight's Steven Allen Show. Also appearing on the same program were Evangelist Billy Graham and actress Talulah Bankhead, another Alabamian.
May 13, 1957-Almost 150 students from Hartselle Elementary, Collins, Flint, and Plainview who will attend MCHS for the first time next year were visitors there today.
