Funeral for Elizabeth Slate Kirkpatrick, 77, of Hartselle was Wednesday, Feb. 28, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harold Brown officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Kirkpatrick died Saturday, Feb. 24, 2007, in Palm Bay, Fla. She was born April 29, 1929, in Morgan County to William Lymon Slate and Ruth Kathleen Marshall Slate. She was a homemaker and attended New Center Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, H. L. Kirkpatrick.
She is survived by three sons, Donald L. Kirkpatrick of Pulaski, Tenn., Frankie Kirkpatrick of Arley and Larry D. Kirkpatrick of Hartselle; three daughters, Cornelia Kirkpatrick and Jean Briscoe, both of Hartselle, and Donna Turcotte of Palm Bay, Fla.; five sisters, Sarah Halbrooks, Margaret Halbrooks and Mearleen Maples, all of Hartselle, and Melba Addis and Marsha Kennedy, both of Decatur; 18 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Donald Kirkpatrick, Daniel Kirkpatrick, James Oakes, Jason Kirkpatrick, Brandon Briscoe, Michael Kirkpatrick, Kirk Feemster and Drew Kirkpatrick.
