Funeral for William J. “Bill” Lindsey, 78, of Falkville was Friday, Dec. 29, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Ben Hayes officiating.
Burial was in Key Cemetery.
Mr. Lindsey died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born Nov. 13, 1928, in Morgan County to Robert Judson Lindsey and Emma Baker Lindsey. He retired as a millwright from General Motors/Saginaw Steering Division. He was a deacon at Eva Church of Christ and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Lindsey of Falkville; a son, Keith Lindsey and wife Donna of Falkville; two daughters, Teresa Duffey and husband Jeff of Falkville and Amy Isom and husband Benny of Arab; a brother, Ermord Lindsey of Eva; a sister, Ella Dean Bousquet of Danielson, Conn.; and five grandchildren, Caroline, Catie and Collin Duffey and Natalie and Gunter Isom.
Pallbearers were Robert Bousquet, Darrell Holmes, Dennis Johnson, Bobby Beavers, Harold Woodruff and Jerry Farley.
