Funeral for Rube Draper, 98, of Falkville was Saturday, Dec, 9, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. James Bridges and Jeff Redmond officiating.
Burial was in Moulton City Cemetery.
Mr. Draper died Wednesday, Dec, 6, 2006, at Summerford Nursing Home. He was born May 8, 1908, in Limestone County to Edward Lenard Draper and Eunice Earlene Gaugh Draper.
He was raised in the Church of Christ and was a lifelong farmer in Morgan County. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jewell Draper and two sons, Billy Wayne Draper and Willard Draper.
He is survived by a son, Tommy Draper and wife Jeanie of Hartselle; two grandchildren, Barry Draper and Tina Lawrence; three great-grandchildren, Reid Lawrence, Madison Draper and Connor Lawrence.
Pallbearers were Bud Durham, Ray Durham, Carol Draper, Dwight Bridges, Fred Stephenson and Lynn Butler.
