Funeral for Margaret Josephine McGhee Driver, 80, of Decatur will be Thursday (today), Oct. 19, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mitchell Williams of Central United Methodist Church officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Driver died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2006, at Riverside Senior Living.
She was retired from Sears, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW, Elks Lodge, the Sunshine Club and a lifetime member of the American Legion. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Richard David McGhee and John O. McGhee; and a daughter, Linda Josephine. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Carmen Leo Driver; two daughters, Patricia Blankenship and husband Wendell and Sandra Cook, all of Decatur; a brother, William Hendrix McGhee of Hartselle; five grandchildren, Kim Lowry, Susan Gossett, Jeff Clem, Drew Blankenship and Shannon Dunaway; and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Drew Blankenship, Jeff Clem, James Dunaway, Todd Lowry, Larry McGhee and Richard McGhee.
A special thank you and appreciation from “Miss Judy” to the staff of Riverside Senior Living, Nurses, Ltd. and Alacare Hospice.
