Funeral for Gordon Calvin Snell, 75, of Hartselle will be Thursday (today), Oct. 19, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. David Bradford and Jon Laidley officiating.
A graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. at Forrest Cemetery in Gadsden.
Mr. Snell died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2006, at his residence. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and a veteran of the Korean War with 13 years service in the U.S. Army, SFC.
He is survived by his wife, Mavis L. Snell of Hartselle; a son, Gylum Snell and wife Cindy of Jacksonville, Fla.; three daughters, Belinda Barber and husband Jeff of Dallas, Tex., Alice Witz and husband Rick of Franklin, Wis. and Janice Miller and husband Mike of New Hope; three sisters, Vivian Amos and husband Jake, Sue Sewell and husband Larry and Jane Emery and husband Don, all of Gadsden; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.
