Funeral for Lillie Mae Walker, 79, of Falkville was Saturday, April 8, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Keith Whitley officiating.
Burial was in Bell Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Walker died Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born April 5, 1927 in Morgan County to Arthur Brown and Grace Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver B. Walker and a son, James Harold Brown. She was well-known as the Avon Lady of Lacon.
She is survived by two sons, Berton Walker of Corinth and Joe Walker of Falkville; a daughter, Helen Frances Turner of Falkville; a brother, Jack David Brown of Neel; two sisters, Mary Frances Lawrimore and Linda Faye Brown, both of Hartselle; 15 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Dennis Crawford, Charley Partain, James Terry Jr., Tim Brown, Lesley Taylor, Douglas Barber, Eugene Brown, Jeff Frebrick and Steven Barber.
