Funeral for Verdie McGee Webster, 93, of Elkmont will be Thursday (today), March 16, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dan Anderson officiating.
Burial will be in Center Springs Cemetery in Somerville.
Mrs. Webster died Tuesday, March 14, 2006, at Limestone Health Facility in Athens. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Athens. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Webster; a son, Roland Webster; and a grandson, Mark Webster.
She is survived by a son, Lee Webster of Madison; a daughter, Yvonne Monk of Elkmont; a sister, Vida M. Ray of Hartselle; seven grandchildren, Keith Monk, Karen Thacker, Kay McLemore, Eric Webster, Alex Webster, Lisa Richardson and Bill Webster; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Eric Webster, Alex Webster, Keith Monk, Bill Webster, Jason Thacker, Cameron Webster, Jeff Richardson and Will Richardson.
