Hartselle opened its season with a 26-6 win over Walker, followed by a 36-0 win over Oak Park, a 16-0 win over Brookhaven, a 36-0 win over Athens and a 14-0 win over Cedar Ridge.
"That's a good group of kids," Godsey said. "They don't mind working hard and that's going to obviously help them further down the line once they move on in their playing careers."
