Funeral for Martha Jane Dickerson, 87, of Valhermoso Springs will be Thursday, Jan. 26, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dewitt Crowe officiating.
Burial will be in Lipscomb Cemetery.
Mrs. Dickerson died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2006, at her residence. She was born December 25, 1918, in Tennessee to D.S. Hill and Jenny Perry Hill. She was a Baptist and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Dickerson, her parents, two brothers, Webb Dudley and Tom Dudley, and four sisters, Virgie Ledbetter, Gertrude Chunn, Margie Walls and Redus Johnson.
She is survived by two sons, Barry Dickerson and wife Kathy of Lacey's Spring and Jerry Dickerson and wife Lynn of Valhermoso Springs; a daughter, Peggy Davis and husband Larry of Valhermoso Springs; a brother, David Dudley of Valhermoso Springs; four sisters, Jody Brown, Francis Turner, Ebbie Kidd and Ella Mae Henderson, all of Valhermoso Springs; four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Michael Owen, Tennis Owen, David Ray Dudley, Jonathan Sikes, Randy Waugh and Jamie Ledbetter.
