Brewer sweeps away Cullman Monday night

Matt Nielsen scored 22 points and Rusty Boyd had 21 as Brewer (9-10) defeated Cullman at home.
The Bearcats had a three-point lead at the half and both teams entered overtime tied at 63.
Jesse Bolden had 24 points in a losing effort for Cullman.

After trailing by 12 at halftime, the Lady Patriots exploded with a second-half spurt that gave them a come-from-behind victory at home against Cullman.
Andrea Crawford had 25 points and eight steals to lead the way for Brewer (11-8). Meagan Hormel added 12 points for the Lady Patriots.
Elizabeth Rowe and Andrea Mason each scored 21 points for Cullman.
