Virgil Butts

A graveside service for Virgil Butts, 71, of Birmingham, formerly of Morgan County, was Friday, Dec. 23, at 10 a.m. in South Cemetery in Blountsville.
Mr. Butts died in Madison County Dec. 21, 2005. He was born Feb. 16, 1934. He retired from Chore-time Manufacturing Co. in Priceville after 20 years. He was also a Construction Supervisor in Birmingham for a number of years.
He is survived by two daughters, Kay Casteel and Fay Flanagan, both of Huntsville; a son, Danny Butts of Danville; a son-in-law, John Casteel; three brothers and two sisters, Eula Mae Tucker Teal and Willie Bee Butts of Alabama, Jesse Butts, Millard Butts and Mary Ellen Wallace of Fla.; five grandchildren, Jonathan, Robin and Holly Castell, Tony Butts and Steven Flanagan; and six great-grandchildren, LeeAnn, H.D. and Brian Butts, Brendan and Caitlyn Casteel, Skyler and the late Quartney Flanagan; and two granddaughters-in-law, Pam Casteel and Amanda Butts.
