Funeral for Cornelia Inez Beasley of Decatur will be Thursday (today), Dec. 22, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Newby officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Beasley died Monday, Dec. 19, 2005, at Decatur General Hospital. She attended St. Bernard School of Nursing in Jonesboro, Ark. and received her B.S. degree from Athens College. She was a member of AEA and taught nursing at Calhoun College for 26 years. She was also a nurse at Decatur General Hospital and Parkway Medical Center. She was a member of Central Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Michael Earl Beasley and wife Cassandra of Phoenix, Ariz.; grandchildren, William, Rebecca and Kristen; and two brothers, Lloyd Buxton of Maynard, Ark. and Asa Buxton of St. Louis, Mo.
Pallbearers will be deacons of Central Baptist Church.
