Funeral for Odell Irene Beaver, 77, of Somerville was Tuesday, May 10, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ralph McCollum officiating.
Burial was in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Beaver died Sunday, May 8, 2005, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Nov. 7, 1927, in Colbert County to Oscar Timothy Speegle and Alma Clayton Speegle. She was a member of Pines Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Aaron Beaver.
She is survived by one son, William Ray "Buddy" Beaver and wife Vickie of Somerville; two daughters, June Beaver of Arab and Kay Beaver Smith and husband Danny of Huntsville; four grandchildren, Lisa Kirby Cox and husband Garry, Cary Kirby and wife Shelly, Jennifer Smith Huey and husband Chris and Jason Beaver and wife Diane; and five great-grandchildren; Callie Aaron Cox, Alex Kirby, Logan Kirby, Jessica Odell Huey and Jack Huey.
