Funeral for Betty Joyce Engle, 71, of Decatur will be Thursday, March 31, at 2 p.m. at Fifth Avenue Baptist Church in Decatur with the Revs. David Lowery and Wayne Penn officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.
Mrs. Engle died Monday, March 28, 2005 at her residence. She was born July 30, 1933, in Limestone County to Robert Leopard and Gladys Stewart Leopard. She was a homemaker and a member of Fifth Avenue Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Roger Engle of Decatur; one son, Gary Engle of Madison; four daughters, Brenda Denby of Etoile, Tex., Barbara Engle of Blountsville, Becky Vest of Hartselle and Belinda Strong of Decatur; three brothers, James Leopard of Tanner and Martin Leopard of Ardmore; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Eugene Speegle, Sammy Wiley, Lane Leopard, Stanley Leopard, Stanley Keenum and Tommy Johnson.
