1941 -Dec. 9, Rachel Pattillo's 16 birthday party today had a holiday theme.

2003 -Dec. 11, The "Winter Wonderland" Hartselle Christmas Parade will be tonight at 7. The Jaycees will once again sponsor the event with special guest Santa Claus and grand marshal Stan White, former Auburn University quarterback.
1956 -Dec.12, The postmaster advises that out-of-town Christmas cards must be mailed immediately.
1953 -Dec. 13, Pfc. Roy P. Roberts of Camp Bliss, Tex., arrived Monday to spend a ten-day holiday furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy P. Roberts, Sr., and brother, Curly.
1956-Dec. 13, The holiday-themed Hartselle football banquet was held tonight in the basement of the First Methodist Church. Three players were selected for the highest honors-brothers Frankie and Brownie Dean and Karl Estes.
1953 -Dec. 14, All circles of the W.M.U. of the First Baptist Church gathered this afternoon at the home of Mrs. R. A. Payne for a Christmas program and party. The program was presented under the direction of Mrs. M. H. Broom.
2003 -Dec. 14, Hartselle's Christmas Tour of Homes was today from 2-4. Featured homes were located in Booth Meadows and Hickory Heights.
1953 -December 15, The Iris Garden Club Christmas party was held tonight at the home of Mrs. L. G. Martin with Mrs. Frank Rausa as co-hostess.
