Funeral for Grace Puckett, 89, of Hartselle was Monday, March 15, at noon at Johnson Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tom Salter officiating.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Puckett died Saturday, March 13, 2004, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Dec. 31, 1914, in Morgan County to Robert S. Long and Florence Virginia Osborn Long. She was a member of the Johnson Chapel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer W. Puckett.
She is survived by one son, E. Warren Puckett of Wilsonville; one daughter, Mattie V. Wickware of Moab, Utah; nephews, Larry Long and Bobby Long; seven grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Larry D. Long, Sr., Larry D. Long, Jr., Robert Long, Joseph Moore and Rob Puckett.
Memorials may be made to the Cancer Society.
