Funeral for M. G. Sivley Jr., 58, of Odenville was Sunday, Oct. 19, at 3 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Chris Burns, Rev. David Spray and Judge Jim Hill officiating and Kilgore Funeral Home of Leeds directing.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
Mr. Sivley died Thursday, Oct. 16, 2003, in Odenville. He was born Aug. 20, 1945, to Monroe Guy Sivley Sr. and Jimmie Lou Sivley. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and president of St. Clair County Gideons. He was retired from BellSouth. He was the son of the late Jimmie Lou Sivley and the brother of the late Wayne Sivley.
He is survived by his wife, Maggie Sivley of Odenville; one daughter, Lisa Belew and husband, Mike; two sons, Steven Sivley and wife Stephanie of Odenville and Jerome Adams; father and stepmother, Guy and Bobbie Sivley of Hartselle; three sisters, Jean Minor of Hartselle, Peggy Hightower of Huntsville and Sue Payne of Hartselle; one brother, Jimmy Sivley of Hartselle; and two grandchildren, Adam and Aaron Belew.
Pallbearers were Gwen Jones, Dude Cobb, Lyman Lovejoy, Steve Martin, Jeremy Green and Josh Jackson.
