Funeral for Danny W. 'Rougie' Flowers, 46, of Danville was Sunday, Sept. 14, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Francis Proctor and Kevin Kieschnick officiating.
Burial was in Flowers Family Cemetery.
Mr. Flowers died Thursday, Sept. 11, 2003, at his residence. He was born July 10, 1957, in Morgan County to Thomas Glenn Flowers and Joann Day Flowers. He was an electronics technician at Toray Carbon Fibers America in Decatur. He was a member of the Christ our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hartselle and was very active in the youth baseball league. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Glenn Flowers.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene Meyers Flowers of Danville; one son, Joshua Troy Flowers of Danville; his mother, Joann Day Flowers; three brothers, Randy Flower and Mike Flowers, both of Danville, and Terry Flowers of Hartselle; three sisters, Ellen Flowers and Tina Flowers Sandlin, both of Danville, and Donna Flowers Walker of Massey.
Pallbearers were Brandon Flowers, Bradley Flowers, Buddy Flowers, Jack Rhea, Jason Hagood and Tracy Kelso.
Honorary pallbearers were employees of Toray Carbvon Fibers America, Inc.
