Hayes, Matson exchange vows
Kimberly Ann Hayes of Hartselle and Neil David Matson of Decatur were married Aug. 2, 2003, at 2 p.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church.
Father Joe Culotta and Rev. Denson Franklin officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. WM Frank Hayes of Hartselle. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Matson of Hartselle.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
The church and altar were decorated with roses and multi-colored summer flowers. The pews were trimmed in Jackson vine, candles and wired white French ribbon.
The bride wore a gown of white bridal satin. The strapless bodice was accented with a bias strip of satin heavily embossed with Austrian crystals and beads, which flowed down the back of the gown. The A-line skirt fell into a semi-cathedral train. Her headpiece was a bridal bandeau with a satin and crystal elbow length veil.
She carried a small bouquet of white roses.
Kristy Bonner of Auburn was the maid of honor.
Kristi Hayes, sister-in-law of the bride, of Hartselle, Paula Looney of Eva, Sandra Shaneyfelt of Hartselle and Nichole Poole of Colorado Springs, Colo., were bridesmaids.
The attendants wore periwinkle blue satin and chiffon floor length dresses of a tank top design with A-line skirts. They carried bouquets of summer roses wrapped tightly with white French ribbon.
Erin Smith of Hartselle was flower girl. Daniel Matson of Evans, Ga., was ring bearer.
Ryan Matson, brother of the groom, of Pace, Fla., was best man.
Billy Terry of White Oak, Texas, Shannon Sutton of Decatur, Creighton Uphues of Dallas, Texas, and Marcelo Castaneda of Dallas, Texas, were groomsmen.
Lee Greene of Hartselle was the candle lighter.
Music was provided by harpist Steven Todd Miller of Huntsville and soloist Matt Reynolds of Hartselle.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Country Inn Suites in Decatur.
The bride's table was overlain with layered white tablecloths and topped with an organza shadow cloth.
It featured a traditional tiered white cake with lemon curd filling that was displayed on a square silver stand.
The groom's table was topped in green turf and highlighted dangling golf balls at each corner and an antique golf cart with golfers and clubs.
The theme was completed by a copper bucket of strawberries, golf tees and golf balls. The table featured a chocolate cake decorated with white golf balls and chocolate icing.
Nancy Turner was the wedding director. She was assisted by Jo Rhe Taylor, Shannon Simpson and Tonja Kay.
Jessie Sturdivant, Luci Wasserburger, Regina Lumpkins and Margaret Nix were servers.
Kimberly Wasserburger attended the bride's book.
The couple honeymooned in St. Thomas Island. They will reside in Harvest.

Worley, Smith exchange vows
Micky Anissa Worley of Huntsville and Jason Andrew Smith of Huntsville were married July 12, 2003, at The Wedding Chapel on the Mountain.
Rev. Bill McKinney officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bethel A. Worley of Hartselle. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald R. Smith of Huntsville.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
The bride wore a white satin gown with a tank bodice and a full organza skirt with a satin border. Her headpiece was a white, two-tier waterfall and elbow length veil with a ribbon edge. Her bouquet featured pink and white roses with baby's breath and ivy wrapped with white satin ribbons.
Becky Watson, sister of the bride, of Hartselle was matron of honor.
Brittany Watson, niece of the bride, of Hartselle, Vicky Smith, sister of bride, of Vestavia, Elizabeth Smith, niece of the bride, of Vestavia, and Melanie Newby, sister of the groom, of Madison were bridesmaids.
Donald R. Smith, father of the groom, of Huntsville was best man.
Steve Clark of Huntsville, Dwayne Renfroe of Huntsville, Zachary Watson, nephew of the bride, of Hartselle and Chris Newby, brother-in-law of the groom, of Madison were groomsmen.
Music was provided by Dwayne Miller of Huntsville.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the chapel's Magnolia Room.
The couple honeymooned in Chattanooga, Tenn. They will reside in Harvest.
A rehearsal dinner was held July 11 at Greenbriar hosted by groom's parents, Jo Knox, grandmother of the groom, and Mr. and Mrs. Mark Krock, aunt and uncle of the groom.
White, Hunter exchange vows
Kimberly Diane White of Danville and Clint Wesley Hunter of Hartselle were married July 18, 2003 at Sunset Beach, N.C.
Rev. Lamar Boulware officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Jimmy and Teresa White of Danville and Danny and Susie Fisher of Danville. The groom is the son of Debbie and Larry Orr of Hartselle and Jessie and Tammy Hunter of Hatton.
The couple will reside in Hartselle.
Engagements
Robertson, Hardin to wed
Jeff and Teresa Robertson of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Brandi Michelle Robertson, to Joseph Lee Hardin, son of Jimmy and Joy Hardin of Hartselle.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Danville High School. She is the granddaughter of Martha Shipley and Donald Shipley.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Hartselle High School. He is the grandson of Betty Watson and the late Wayne Watson and the late John and Leathia Hardin. He is enlisted with the Alabama National Guard.
The wedding will be held Sept. 27 at 2 p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church.
Allen, Nichols to wed Nov. 1
Mr. and Mrs. Mark Allen of Huntsville announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Faith Allen, to Randall Conrad Nichols, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Nichols of Hartselle.
The wedding will be Nov.1, at 7p.m. at Living Word Church, Huntsville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry and Mary Taylor of Macon, Ga., and Mr. and Mrs. Laurel and Pat Allen of Columbus, N.C. She is a graduate of Covenant Christian Academy and will be completing her English degree at The University of Alabama in the fall.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Ted Dodge of Mobile, and Anne P. Dodge of Auburn and Dr. and Mrs. Neil G. Nichols of Northport.
He is a graduate of Hartselle High School and is currently enrolled at Global University where he is studying music ministry. He is the worship arts pastor at Covenant Family Church of Tuscaloosa.
