Funeral for Julia Wallace, 91, of Hartselle was Saturday, July 12, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jerri Hunt officiating.
Burial was in Forrest Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Wallace died Thursday, July 10, 2003, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 27, 1911, in Morgan County to Tom Speakman and Mattie Ward Speakman.
She was a homemaker and a member of Forrest Chapel United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Therrel Wallace; and one son, Pat Wallace.
She is survived by three sons, Ramon Wallace, Andy Wallace and Dwain Wallace, all of Hartselle; one daughter, Bettie Jones of Hartselle; one brother, Simon Speakman of Birmingham; one sister, Virginia Sims of Hartselle; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were her grandsons.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Hospice of the Valley.
