Funeral for David Pounders, 46, of Cohutta, Ga., was Saturday, June 15 at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Jackie Pounders officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle Cemetery.
Mr. Pounders died Tuesday, June 11, 2002, at his residence. He was a native of Illinois.
He is survived by two sons, Jeremy Pounders of Florida and Jason Pounders of Georgia; one daughter, Michelle Cauthan of Mobile; his father, Noah Pounders of Hartselle; three brothers, Cecil Pounders of Decatur, the Rev. Jackie Pounders of Bossier City, La. and Mark Pounders of Japan; three sisters, Judy C. Lee of Hartselle, Imogene Bradley of Rainsville and Debbie Gray of Haleyville; and one grandchild.
