Funeral for Ernie Jackson of Decatur was Wednesday, June 5, at 2 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Bill Compton and Ira Williams officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mr. Jackson died Sunday, June 2, 2002, at his residence. A native of Kentucky, he was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and retired from Chrysler Corp., where he worked on the assembly line. He attended Albany Baptist Church in Decatur. He was the brother of the late Tava Adams.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Latham) Jackson of Decatur; two brothers, Robert Jackson of Columbus, Ohio and Clyde Jackson of Frazeysburg, Ohio.
Pallbearers were nephews.
