Funeral for Larry Oscar Anders, 65, of Fayetteville, Ga. and a native of Morgan County, will be Thur., May 17, at 2 p.m. at Carl J. Mowell & Son Fayetteville Chapel with Pastor Ike Reighard officiating.

Visitation will be Wed., May 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

A graveside service will be at Herring Cemetery in Massey Fri., May 18, at 2 p.m. Albertville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Anders died Mon., May 14, 2012, at his residence. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Haven Anders.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Pam Anders; his mother, Lela Anders of Albertville; four sons, Eric Phillip Anders and wife Aida of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Aaron Anders and wife Tanya of Sharpsburg, Ga., Matthew Haven Anders of Fayetteville, Ga. and Jake Anders and a wife Lauren Heirs of Newman, Ga.; a daughter, Lisa Vining and husband Mark of Thornton, Colo.; a sister, Darlene Bray and husband Dr. Maury of Albertville; five grandchildren, Gabriel, Christopher, Lauren, Lily and Justin; a nephew, Bert Bray; and a niece, Leigh Bray.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Georgia Baptist Children’s Home at www.gbchfm.org or the Prostate Cancer Foundation at www.pcf.org.
