D.N. ‘Mac’ Macoy

Funeral for D.N. “Mac” Macoy, 91, of Falkville was Monday, April 30, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Dale Jenkins, Mike Nix and Odom Hawkins officiating.
Burial was in Eva Cemetery.
Mr. Macoy died Friday, April 27, 2007, at his residence. He was born January 25, 1916, in Colbert County to John Benjamin Macoy and Mary Alma Keller Macoy.
He was a member of Macedonia Church of Christ and was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Elizabeth Teague Macoy.
He is survived by five daughters, Beverly Macoy Ward and husband Carl, Nancy Macoy Wallace and husband Albert and Diane Macoy Ryan and husband John, all of Decatur, Cathy Macoy Stillwell and husband Mac of Nashville and Janice Macoy Godwin and husband Don of Enterprise; a brother, Ramelle Macoy and wife Marilyn of Mifflintown, Penn.; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Greg Godwin, Jeremy Lile, Anthony Ryan, Darran Wallace, David Wallace, Dennis Wallace, Frank Wallace and Brad Ward.
