A graveside service for Bernice Bennett Mills, 87, of Falkville will be Friday, April 27, at 1:30 p.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi, Miss. with Riemann Memorial Funeral Home directing. Peck Funeral Home handled local arrangements.
Mrs. Mills died Sunday, April 22, 2007, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Mills.
She is survived by two daughters, Anne Mills Byrom and June Mills Hartsell, both of Hartselle; two brothers, George Bennett of Pensacola, Fla. and Joseph Bennett of Biloxi, Miss.; a sister, Margie Ferguson of Gulfport, Miss.; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a favorite charity.
