Funeral for Christine Brown, 79, of Falkville was Wednesday, March 14, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Whitt Wray officiating.
Burial was in Union Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Brown died Sunday, March 11, 2007, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Brown; two brothers, Tom Ward and Clyde Ward; and a daughter, Mary Brown.
She is survived by a son, Ricky Brown and wife Shirley of Falkville; a daughter, Cynthia Gail Cagle and husband Jim of Falkville; six brothers, Murphy Ward of Haleyville, Frankie Ward and wife Debra of Double Springs, Ronald Ward and wife Renee of Haleyville, Roger Ward and wife Linda and I. J. Lacey and wife Ann, all of Double Springs, and James Lacey and wife Merle of Hartselle; three sisters, Betty Jones of Adamsville, Sarah Robbins and husband Leon of Double Springs and Cathy Chance and husband Terrell of Mulga; her special caregiver, Angie McCarley; two grandchildren, Robert Brown and Vanessa Brown, both of Falkville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Wayne Kelsoe, Tommy Robbins, Millard Ward, Murphy Ward and Cody Kelsoe.
Honorary pallbearer was Robert Brown.
