Funeral for Barbara Keel, 58, of Hartselle was Monday, Jan. 29, at 1 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home with the Rev. Walter Blackmon officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mrs. Keel died Friday, Jan. 26, 2007, in Somerville. She was born Nov. 7, 1948, in Morgan County to Elgin Bowen and Louise Vice Bowen. She was a member of East Highland Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Elgin Bowen.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Keel of Hartselle; a son, Justin Keel of Hartselle; a daughter, Heather Keel of Hartselle; her mother, Louise Bowen of Somerville; two brothers, Michael Bowen of Somerville and Ronald Bowen of St. Louis, Mo.; four sisters, Linda Murphy of Kenner, La., Carolyn Bowen of Dawsonville, Ga., Cindy Thompson of Priceville and Marie Dabbs of Huntsville.
Pallbearers were Neal Thompson, David Thompson, Mike Stallions, John Pittman, Barry Pike and Dudley White.
