FHS wins 1A-3A at Cullman

Falkville High School’s girls captured five first place wins in the 1A-3A division.

Jaclyn Koerber won the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 18.81; Sarah Ayre came in first in the long jump with a jump of 13-10; and Autumn Eddy won the triple jump with a jump of 20-04

The 4×100 relay team of Heather Smith, Areal Williams, Amber Riddle and Jaclyn Koerber finished first with a time of 55:84; and the 4×400 relay team of Amber Riddle, Sarah Ayre, Areal Williams and Autumn Eddy finished first with a time of 4:43.04.

Second place winners were Amber Riddle, 100m hurdles; and Sarah Ayre, second in the triple jump.

Falkville’s boys claimed second through fourth place wins in five events. Travis Sumerel finished fourth in the 100m dash and pole vault; Cade Wilemon came in third in the 1,600m; Aaron Becerra finished third in the triple jump; and Alex Tuttle came in fourth in the 800m.
