Starr, Martin to wed Jan. 6
Robert Starr of Trussville and Charlae Gamble of Moody announce the engagement of their daughter, Carrie Rosa Starr, to William Casey Martin, son of Gary and Judy Hawkins of Tuscaloosa.
The wedding is planned for Jan. 6, 2007 at 4:30 p.m. at the Skyland Boulevard Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Starr of Hartselle and thte late Mr. and Mrs. Charles D. Turner of Romnee, W.Va. She is a 2002 graduate of Hewitt-Trussville High School and attended The University of Alabama, where she received a bachelor’s degree of science in commerce and business administration. She graduated with honors in business management and is employed in Tuscaloosa at Tuscaloosa Title Company Inc.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Rev. and Mrs. George W. Hicks. He is a 1999 graduate of Central High School and attended The University of Alabama, where he received a bachelor’s degree of science in commerce and business administration. He is employed in Tuscaloosa with 84 Lumber Company.
