Funeral for Lonzo Johnson, 73, of Hartselle will be Thursday (today), Dec, 7, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Phillip Hines officiating.
Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery in Cullman County.
Mr. Johnson died Monday, Dec. 4, 2006, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born September 4, 1933 in Morgan County to Howard Johnson and Geneva Woods Johnson. He was a self-employed welder.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Vandiver Johnson of Hartselle; a son, Lavon (Bama) Johnson and wife Candy Turney of Hartselle; two daughters, Karren Johnson Reidberger and husband Scott of Falkville and Becky Dudley and husband Donny of Somerville; seven grandchildren, Brad McReath, Whitney Brewer, Danielle Johnson, Gavin Johnson, Taylor Landers, Jaycee Collins and Drew Hollaway; and two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jim Galloway, Gus Slater, Kenny Sharrott, Lonnie Dawson, Drew Prater and Lionel Sheppard.
